We started Columbia Pet Service in December, 1993. This endeavor is something we believe in wholeheartedly and have spent the past 20 plus years in providing the best possible service we can to those who are in need.

Mark Lewis, Owner

Mark Lewis was raised and educated in Wenatchee. After college, he began a career in the funeral industry, working at a local funeral home from 1980 - 1993. It was there that the idea of Columbia Pet Service was born as a need was seen through many inquiries by pet owners as to where they could receive pet cremation services.  We not only operate our business at our South Wenatchee Avenue address, we also live here which allows us to be more flexible in helping our clients.

Mark has been involved in volunteering for the Apple Blossom Festival and was the 2017 Festivals Director General. He also sits on the Wenatchee Cemetery citizen's advisory board.

Kathy Fortner-Lewis, Owner

Kathy Fortner-Lewis was raised in Leavenworth and Wenatchee. She received her degree in Psychology from Central Washington University. She has worked for a county and state agency and later, as admission representative and director of a local business college. She, too, has been involved in volunteering for the Apple Blossom Festival and was the Chancellor of the Wenatchee Applarians in 2011.
